Tessada places a premium on excellence of service. We clearly appreciate and respect today's market forces that mandate delivery of quality services and products. We know that our survival as a company depends on providing the highest quality of service on every engagement.
To formalize our commitment to quality, TESSADA pursued and was awarded ISO 9001:2008 registration by BSI Management Systems, Inc. A milestone for the company, this registration reflects our dedication to outstanding customer service supported by repeatable processes and procedures.

PMBOK®
TESSADA's quest to provide the very best in project management has led us to the Project Management Institute (PMI) and its Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) standard, also accepted as an ANSI standard, ANSI/PMI 99-001-2004. TESSADA has institutionalized PMBOK® within the corporation and expects every project manager and trainee to embrace and adhere to its precepts. In parallel, TESSADA managers will use Microsoft Project 2003 as our automated tool to prepare project schedules, create work breakdown structures, apply earned value management, track work progress, and support other project management responsibilities.

TESSADA managers will budget for the cost of acquiring documentation, training, and software that supports PMBOK® guidlines, and use of MS Project. Managers will ensure that the standard, tools, and training are available to and used by those persons managing projects for TESSADA.

Our application to projects will include programs and projects under which we directly support our clients, such as contracts and included task orders, as well as to projects to implement company improvements and to win new work through capture management and proposal submission.

As we expand our sophistication with project management, we will use email, our newsletter, and our web site to communicate requirements, progress, application, achievements, and training sources. Additionally, we may establish a BLOG or Project Manager Corner for sharing of PM concerns and achievements, building a "community of practice" among our PMs.
